About the event
Queens' Entrepreneurship Society and the YNOT institute are organizing "Nesting a Startup from Ideation to Launch" event. The event is divided into two main parts: a presentation and a workshop, with a 5-minute break in between.
Part I: Presentation (45 minutes) The presentation provides an insightful overview of the technology commercialization process, covering various aspects like ideation, team formation, and business launch. It begins with an introduction and overview, followed by discussions on ideation, team formation, and technology commercialization. Intellectual property and funding are briefly touched upon, emphasizing their importance in the process. The presentation then delves into Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development, business launch, technology scaling, and setting up operations.
Part II: Workshop (1 hour 10 minutes) After a short break, participants are divided into two groups for a series of interactive exercises. The first exercise, "Visioning exercise - Ideation to MVP," encourages participants to envision their journey from ideation to creating an MVP. The second exercise, "Big Arrow exercise - MVP to launch," focuses on moving from MVP to a successful business launch. Both exercises are followed by a 30-minute discussion session, allowing participants to share their insights and learn from others' experiences.
